Glaucoma – irreversible blindness can strike at any age

Glaucoma 3

This week is World Glaucoma Week and this morning ABC News Breakfast aired a very informative story on glaucoma – the leading cause of irreversible blindness in the world, affecting over 300,000 Australians.  It can strike at any age and is not an ‘old person’s eye disease’. Click here to watch this very disturbing but important story by ABC reporter, Nick Grimm.

A comprehensive eye health check is the only way to diagnose glaucoma and if you haven’t already done so, this week is the week to organise that eye health check!
